http://users.ox.ac.uk/~chemsoc/ Built primarily as an efficient way of providing information for its members, the ChemSoc web site was designed to reflect the idiosyncrasies of the Society. The use of the 'hazchem' symbols and the associated 'hazcard' format serves to add a 'chemical' theme without recourse to the usual bubbling test tubes and bunsen burner images. Although complex, care was taken to cater for all users - the site works well even in a 'bare bones' text-only format. We are still working with the Society to increase features and services. |
